I LOVE Autumn! Saturdays are spent cheering on the football sidelines for my older guy and Sundays are spent driving through the fall foliage to different activities. It’s like Long Island just comes alive with family fun- from fall festivals, haunted houses and corn mazes to pumpkin patches, caramel apples, and hikes along paths bursting with fall colors- its all just awesome! I think I have more fun with the boys during the Fall than any other season. We roast a bit more, barbecue a bit less- have late night fires reading ghost stories with flashlights and roasting marshmallows- and basically just enjoy being together in the crisp fall air. Nothing fancy- just good simple fun. Ryan will bethinking about colleges soon, so I have embraced this years autumn a bit harder- hugged a bit tighter- wondering how much longer our simple little magic season together will last as we know it. How much longer until will day trips with mom be replaced with times spent doing something else. I know it inevitable. I try not to think of it. I embrace the golden times we have now.
Sunflowers kept coming to mind. They have to be one of my favorite flowers- and from late September thru November, there will always be a bunch on our dining room table. They are just so darn happy!
And so, I designed “Sunflowers“. I didn’t go all out on an interpretive name, lol! But I think you’ll find alot of meaning in the page kit- something more than the flowers themselves. I wanted to give you a peek at some of the pages created by the CT team so you could feel the energy in this kit-
