#joycreated challenge | Color Your World Happy

Hey there! It’s Kimberly here with our new March challenge and the announcement of our #joycreated February Challenge winner.  

In the cycle of the year, March is typically a good month for me. The flowers on the trees and the rolling hills green from the winter rain lift my spirits and several family birthdays (including my own) help create many moments of joy. But, I’ve learned that joy doesn’t always drop in our lap and we have to search for it. It doesn’t have to be the elusive pot at the end of the rainbow searching, but being more aware of the little moments. Celebrating the everyday. Stopping and recognizing when something makes you smile. Tie it to a little gratitude and you have #joycreated. This month’s challenge is to create a layout that celebrates the everyday joy in your life. Look on the bright side of things and color your world happy.
How to Play Along

Simply create some digital joy using any of Renne’s designs in your layout! March is a time we tend to focus on being lucky and finding rainbows — with or without the help of leprechauns! Honestly though, we don’t need to go hunting. All we need to do is choose to look up and see the blessings and joys that surround us everyday! So, for March, the challenge is to scrap about coloring your world happy. What big or little things add color to your days?

Non-FJ templates are a-ok.  Layouts can be any combination of ForeverJoy’s designs. Post in the ForeverJoy gallery at The Lilypad and tag with #joycreated. Paste a link to the gallery where you posted back here in the comments of this post. The deadline is Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at 10pm EST.

One lucky participant will be randomly selected to receive $10 for ForeverJoy Designs’ Shoppe. The winner and layout will be posted in April’s challenge post here on the blog.

Inspiration

I have a layout using our featured kit, EVERYDAY JOY.  My daughter and her best friend were hanging out in her room and I was drawn upstairs by the sound of their laughter. They were having great fun together and I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures. When teenagers are being teenagers and life is frustrating, I try to remember the fun and silly moments when the house was filled with giggles.
