Video Walk Through | Joyful Planner June Edition

I have always been a lover of all things organized.  Last summer, I looked forward to the opening of a Container Store near me as if it were Disney. Oh the glory of little boxes, coordinated folders and color coded hangers! On any given shopping trip to Target- I will get happily lost in the aisle of mini notebooks and planners- only to tumble happily into the colored pens section…And don’t even get me started on the ecstasy of back to school supplies!

A long time ago, I would seamlessly merge my love of organization with my craftiness- and my calendars and planners and notebooks would be full of colors and pretties.  But somewhere along the line I lost that free spirit- and my to-do’s and routines lost their color.  I didn’t realize how much I missed the coexistence of pretty and function until recently, when I came across a few images of prettied up planners. At first, I thought, I can barely find time to scrap- now I’m going to add decorating a planner to my crafty guilt?- but the sheer coolness of it all kept me window shopping on Pinterest and admiring the sweetness of it all..why not? I began to think.  Why can’t I make the everyday a little more fun? Why do my grocery lists have to be on the back on envelopes- and notes scribbled on the leftovers of my kids loos-leaf? Why does my planner have to be “just the facts ma’am? …I like pretty things. They energize me- they make me smile…

So, I hit the drawing board to design a collection that would be pretty, seasonal, useful (honestly- if it wasn’t useful- then what was the point?) and easy.  It had to be easy to use. No guilt- no stress- just a little shot of fun in the everyday.  The items I came up with are simple- yet thoughtful. And yep. They are pretty darn cute! I call the bundle a “Joyful Planner”- and I think this just may be around for awhile!

With summer kicking into gear around here- I am finding myself drawn to  fresh sunny pineapples and preppy pink flamingos (could be my latent season long craving for Pina Coladas) but darn they are cool! – and they just scream summer to me. No surprise then, that these images spilled out onto my water color pad- and made their way into the June collection!  Inside you’ll find papers that are in flattened PDF and JPG format- ready to print and play-
I’ve included note paper,  patterned papers, Post It templates, shopping lists, Note cards, Planner dividers, 4×6 cards and a bundle of pretties including Print and Cut files as well as a “Sticker Sheet” that are perfect for making planners, calendars and your Project Life spreads a little happier!

Here’s a video walk through and a closer look of what you’ll find inside and a look at my calendar before and after! I have to say- the ‘after” is making me really happy!

I have also made a quick video tutorial about using the Cameo Silhouette to make print and cut files- (Trust me! It’s easy!) You can check it out HERE on my You Tube Channel.

What size are the little box elements? For example: the "Today's Forecast Calls for awesome" box?
